Gordon Close is a Colorado native and graduated from the University of Denver with a BSBA degree in Marketing. Upon graduation, he went on the road touring with a group called The Accents, and later was lead guitarist in concerts with Bobby Darin, Stevie Wonder, Anita Bryant, Myron Floren, and played with the Ice Capades and Ice Follies, along with numerous concerts in the Denver area.

He has recorded and performed as a professional guitarist for over 54 years maintaining many contacts in the performing industry. Mr. Close purchased a music store in 1973-Melody Music and Sound-and later Elite Sound in 1997 and brings 36 years of retail experience in musical products, commercial sound system design and commercial audio installations to this venture. He is also currently President and CEO of Harvest Guitars, a guitar line that he is producing and distributing nation wide.
