Dorothy grew up on the Southern California beaches with the music of the Beach Boys and The Beatles. Music has always a part of her life whether it was touring with the high school choir, Jamming with friends or just singing along to the car radio.

She tends toward classic rock with a bit of country and blues thrown in. She has been the lead singer in a few groups and currently performs with a classic rock band. In addition to providing the “Stone” in Graystone Records, Dorothy brings her management skills, legal experience and enthusiasm to the enterprise.

As what she terms a semi-reformed type-A personality, Dorothy graduated summa cum laude from California State University, Long Beach in psychology, was awarded her Master of Arts in Developmental psychology from the University of Colorado and her Juris Doctor from Boston
University School of Law.

She has been practicing law since 1982, currently with her own firm located in Elizabeth, Colorado. She also serves as a municipal court judge in some small rural Colorado communities. In her spare time, she and her British husband, Neil, travel the world and are avid concert goers, here and abroad, keeping their finger on the pulse of the current music scene.
